Santa Claus is his legal name; and, he is a Bishop and monk, as St. Nicholas was many centuries ago.
Santa has served as a children's advocate for quite some time, and is a member of the Washoe County (NV) Sheriff's Community Emergency Response Team and former on-call public safety emergency response chaplain.
Santa's full-time volunteer advocacy for children has been recognized by national, state, county, and local agencies and national and international news media.
Santa has visited every Governor's staff throughout the U.S. and discussed a variety of children's issues affecting millions of vulnerable children.
To prompt Senators Obama and McCain to address the plight of vulnerable children during the last election cycle, Santa ran as a formal independent write-in candidate in 16 states, directing media attention to a variety of children's issues. The Obama administration now lists Child Advocacy as one of its national issues.
Most recently, The Santa Claus Peace Council in Antalya, Turkey, designated Santa Claus as recipient of its 2009 Peace Award. The Dalai Lama is a previous honoree.
In 2010, Santa will publish THE SANTA DIET, a complete diet for physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

The Rt. Rev. Santa Claus, OAC, is a Christian Monk in the Order of the Anam Cara and a consecrated Bishop in the Apostles' Anglican Church.
Santa Believes that Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ, not the crass, commercial, secular spectacle it has become in many places, and that the greatest gift one can give is love, not presents.
Blessings to all!
